Do you deliver?

You bet we do!  We are really excited to offer our range of fresh breads, pastries and pantry items for delivery across Sydney

What are your delivery fees?

  • Our delivery fee is $14.95 (inc GST)
When do you deliver?
    • In 2022 we will deliver to most suburbs in Sydney, Monday to Friday.
    • Delivery to suburbs north of Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches is available on Mondays and Thursdays.
    • Our drivers will aim to deliver your order between 11am and 7pm.
    • Orders placed by 2pm can be delivered the next day, or on a future date.

    • Some products need more time to be lovingly made, so please check our website.

    If you’d like to order outside of this delivery schedule you are welcome to place a Pickup order.

    I've checked my postcode and it says you don't deliver to my suburb?

    We're sorry about that. If you think there's been a mistake get in touch and we will do our best to remedy it.

    Yes, we have a range of pantry products that we send via courier. Check out the range here

    How do you deliver to Sydney Metro?

    Our Sydney metro deliveries are made in refrigerated vehicles. This may seem counterintuitive for bread and pastry but allows us to send chilled and frozen items too. We have included warming instructions for all items that don’t usually like the cold. Our chilled and frozen items will need to go straight into the fridge on arrival. Bread and pastry can be stored in ambient temperatures and should be consumed within 48 hours to maximise enjoyment. 

    Your delivery schedule doesn't suit me. Can I pick up in store?

    All orders placed by 2pm will be available to collect in store after 8am the following day. There are a few exceptions to this. Our family cakes and big loaves require extra preparation time (48 hours)

    Unfortunately, you are not able to choose an alternative delivery date via the website, you will be allocated the next available delivery day to your suburb. If you’d like to change your delivery day to a future day, simply email us after checkout and we will make the change for you.

    What if an item I've ordered is out of stock?

    Due to the complex nature of Berkelo’s fermentation for bread and pastry production, occasionally, it’s possible that some of the items in your order may be out of stock. If this happens, we will contact you by phone or email to determine what you’d like to do. We can either send alternative items or provide you with a refund.

    How will purchases appear on my credit card statement?

    Purchases will appear as SP * BERKELOAU  on your credit card statement.  

    When can I expect my order?

    Deliveries will usually be made between 11am and 7pm. We are unable to provide more details around delivery times. Please ensure someone will be home to receive the delivery or provide instructions where you would like your order left.

    Do you deliver Nationally? 

    Yes! We do! We've made a selection of our pantry products available for national delivery. So if you're in Perth, or Townsville, or Brunswick, or Cygnet you can enjoy our range of sourdough pasta, biscuits and drinks. Pop the search term 'national' to see what's on offer. 

    What are your national delivery fees? 

    Our national delivery fees are calculated by weight and your destination.

    Once we have received your order and depending on weight/volume we may need to contact you to adjust the delivery fee.

    When do you deliver?

    Our team works on business days, so your order will be sent the following business day after we receive it.

    Can I track my order?

    We will make sure you receive tracking information for your order via email or SMS. Please allow between 2-7 business days to receive your order (depending on your location).

    National delivery delays?

    Regrettably, due to COVID-19's impact on couriers and the post, there can be extended delays in receiving your order. Keep an eye on your email for delivery updates, and use the tracking enquiry links to contact the courier if you have any questions about the status of your order. If you are having trouble getting an update from the couriers directly (generally allow 24 hours for a response), get in touch at admin@berkelo.com.au

    No, sorry we don’t.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Thanks for your interest, no, Berkelo only delivers within metro Sydney at this time. Of course, we can take international payments if you'd like to send a gift to your mum/auntie/cousin/pop in Oz

    What payment methods does Berkelo accept?

    Berkelo uses Shopify Payments through which you can purchase using American Express, Visa & Mastercard. We also accept PayPal.
